It all began in school.

I accidentally saw him at what we call "the dome". Then after that i start seeing him more often. I see him in the corridor, at the lobby, in the path walk, at the library etc., for about 4 to 5 times everyday. So I just think out of the blue that maybe this guy might be my destiny. Yes! Whenever I saw him I call him my destiny or soul mate.
That was during my first year in college.

Second year I got the chance to officially introduce myself to him with the help of a friend who is actually his friend at that time. I was so happy back then because I would finally meet him face to face. But unfortunately I found out that he has a girlfriend at that time. I feel so bad. I felt so bad because he doesn't know me at all and for not knowing that I had feelings for him. It's a bit complicated. It hurts that I didn't get a chance to personally know him better because as I said a while ago he has a girlfriend back then. So I just kept my feelings for him.

Third year was a bit fun. I wanted to be a cheerleader so joined cheering at my school. That took a lot of my time so I forgot a bit about my destiny. But one day, a friend told me that my destiny and her girlfriend broke up. I was so happy back then that I even cried. I'm so happy that I told my friends that I will try to befriend him again and try to connect myself to him. But unluckily, that was just one week of happiness because after a week they got back together again. And I felt bad again. I cried a lot.

So my last year in college came, I'm a bit busy with my studies because were graduating students. So many things to accomplish, thesis writing, feasibility studies, defense and all that.

Amazingly, we had chance to know each other deeply.

Eventually, he fell in love with me.

I told him that I admired him so much since first year college. He was a bit shocked about that.

We date a lot. Then eventually we decided to have a formal relationship.

Up until now were together and I'm very proud to say that were very much in love with each other.

I hate it when it's raining...Excuse me... but i really hate it..

1. I can't GO OUT.


2. We can't run dry our clothes.

3. I'm being a bit lazy and sleepy when its raining.

4. Due to heavy rain, our pathwalk is not a pathwalk anymore. It suddenly transform into an Olympic size swimming pool!(just kidding)

5. We can't clean our backyard.

6. Sometimes our phone line is malfunctioning.

7. And the signal for our television is quite not clear.

8. The worse thing is a blackout.


So rain, rain, go away!....never come till i said so!

Feeling Better Now!

After our phone rang this Thursday afternoon I was told by my sister that the call was for me. And so i answered the phone and was then realized that the call was for my termination from my work.

Holy crapped!

Thank God I was terminated. Please don’t ask questions about it. Although the people there were friendly and warmth I just don’t feel that I belong to the company plus the work was very stressful.

Then, I was told to report Friday afternoon to sign some papers and to officially end my contract. After that I went to shop and played DOTA for 4 hours. Then sitting on our sofa, I felt I’m in heat literally. Oh my I have fever with muscle pains.

My friends told me to rest, sleep, drink more water, eat fruits and take medicine of course.

Feeling better now, I open my laptop to see the status of my blog. Hasn’t post for a while because of not feeling well but now that I’m fully okay I am ready to post again.

The Joy of Walking. . . .

I love walking. Every Sunday, when I and my friends were available we tend to have a walk in UP diliman. We walk as long as our foot cries for help (just kidding). We walk ealy morning or early evening, it varies.


The touch of nature and the smell of green grass of environment in UP diliman made us feel better and stress free. And of course as we all know, walking is a form of exercise. And somehow it gave us time to talk about anything under the sun. Its one of the things we love to do, an activity that we love to spare time with.


We dressed up, jogging pants, white shirt and rubber shoes preferably to feel comfortable and clean. Do always remember to bring towels or handkerchiefs for your sweat glands. Plus money for some bargain stores that we passed along. Afterwards, we visited the chapel to hear mass. Then back to walk again.

But now that we’ve been busy on our daily responsibilities, we quite forget about it. (Sigh!)

BaCk on tRack!

Im back!!!wohooo.. After a month or so, I wasn’t able to write because of my work (of course, the adjustments and everything coz’ actually this was my first job).You see when I was in school my parents didn’t allow me to work because they want to focus...focus...focus on my studies. And I said ok, no problem.

Yes it’s been hard for someone like me with no experience at all but aha! I love challenges and to really earn for your own money is a great feeling.

Now I fully understand how to value money (not the money itself) but the importance of time and effort that you exert just to earn it.

Eight hours a day and five days a week is what I spent in the office. And you know what i realize; I want to turn back the hands of time. “I want to go back to school”. Allowances every month chill out with my friends every time your classes get suspended, terror professors, boring professors, projects, researchers, reports, thesis, feasibility studies, and my extra curricular activity which is dancing.

So much reminiscing. . . .Now Im back on track.

For these past few weeks, i just dropped entrecards. But now I’m beginning to think new ideas/thoughts for my blog. Thanks anyways for those bloggers that dropped their ec’s for me and those that just hang out and read some of my articles, for those who gave their thoughts and comments, I appreciated it.

Cheers to the New Nurses!

NURSING is in demand today--as a stepping-stone to a good career abroad. Indeed, the caring and competent Filipino nurse is known worldwide, and nursing schools throng with students with visions of foreign shores.

A total of 27,765 or 43.07 percent of the 64,459 who took the nursing licensure exam last June 1 and 2 passed it, the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said this Thursday evening.

Even though I am not a nurse, I was so excited to view the results of 2008 Nursing Licensure Examination . I want to know if my cousin and some friends passed the examination. And so I browsed the net to see.

Eric, one of my best of friends, passed. I'm so proud of you! Congratulations!! So when and where is the celebration? hehehe..Blow out!blow out!

And also I have three co-agents who passed the licensure examinations. They were very happy to know that they passed. But the thing is.. Are they going to pursue their call center career? What will be their plans in the near future? What is it going to be?

Back on my college days, we had a seminar entitled "Call Center: Degree Holder's New Home?", where we guested a team captain of former call center company as a speaker. He talked about the advantages as well as the disadvantages of being part of the call center industry. How this job change his lifestyle, his social an financial aspect as well as his health and love life. And in the end he didn't encourage nor discourage us from taking his career. He just gave us ideas to help us choose any career that we will take. He said " Students, your future is in your hands. Believe in your abilities and skills. Make your parents proud."

It seems that there is nothing more in this world than your family's happiness.

And for the record, many of my former classmates applied for management trainee. But I am not one of the many. I am one of the few who, have already applied, passed and will start my call center career on Monday. Good luck!

Travel Outside Your Country. . .

Last year my sister had his first travel outside our country. She was with my aunt who travels a lot. I was supposed to be with them but at that time my birth certificate at National Statistics Office has not been approved. It came out that I had a late registration. Unfortunately it was one of the requirements to travel abroad.And sO they flew....(of course) dmn right..without me..They spent 8 wonderful days there..Lucky for them too bad for me.

I seldom give cards. I think these are nothing but a piece of paper with words printed on it.


But when I started receiving one, I realized somehow that these were one of the best gift ever.


Although I love receiving expensive things, I mostly appreciate if someone will give me a card. Plus factor if it's made by him/her with a touch of art...hehehe.. I really love it.

So what style do you have for chucks?...


One thing I became aware of for almost teenage girls was that all have a pair of chucks.


Actually there are a lot of wardrobes you can choose to pair up with your chucks.

Some girls wear it with different cuts of jeans, others try cargo, cropped/folded up pair or a long short and for the muses they try boho/bubble skirt or a denim mini.

Of course there are still exceptions.

But as long as you know how to mix and match them to go with the color of your chucks for sure you're always on the go.

The Sunscreen Song. . . .

Wear sunscreen.

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.

Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing every day that scares you.

Sing.

Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Floss.

The beauty of visual creativity has thrown in this film that you just feel to sit back and finish the movie. Created and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, this movie will surely hook your imagination.



Spirited Away is a magical and enchanting film about a little girl's adventures in a supernatural world. When Chihiro found herself going through a tunnel and trapped in a forbbiden world of gods and magic. In order to survive, she must renounce her name and find within her the courage to save her parents and escape from the world where humans are despised.

The second Oscar ever awarded for Best Animated Feature, the first anime film to win an Academy Award, and the only winner of that award to win among five nominees. The film also won the Golden Bear at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival.

Girls are shopaholic.

We admit.

Almost all wants to have pretty stuff but does it have to be signatured or comes with a high price just to be able to call it pretty and fabulous.

Here are some tips for bargain shopping:

1. If you’re on a tight budget don’t get disappointed. I advice you to use your money with cheap finds and revisits popular shopping destination to give you what your asking for.

2. Don’t be blinded by brands. Go to tiangges and ukay-ukay. They have lots of good items at a very reasonable price. You can even haggle to get a lower price just remember to be polite and say thank you.

3. Unless you have superb self-control, bring only cash that you can afford to spend to avoid impulse buys.

4. Buy fashion pieces because they fit your style. Buy what you like, spent your money for the things that you are certain to wear over and over again.

5. Be thorough. Make sure to look every item in the store so that you won’t miss all sorts of great deals.


6. Organize your closet; mix and match then visualize a potential purchase from the stuff you already have to maximize their wear ability.

7. Bear in mind to be fashionable on your own way.

8. Make sure you know what flatters your body.

9. Don’t be a fashion victim. Don’t wear all the current trends unless it works for you.

10. Being on budget should not damp your shopping spirit. You must accept that you can only buy things that you need. It simply means buying necessity over luxury.

But if you’re lucky enough and you have golden spoon on your mouth, go ahead and indulge. Keep in mind that quality over quantity is more significant. Coffee: How much is too much?

Study shows that drinking coffee in moderation is perfectly safe and good for our health but too much of it is risky. Coffee is drunk all over the world, every day, by both young and old but like many other things we enjoy in our everyday life, we sometimes question whether it is good for us.


WHEN TO STOP IT...


Certain circumstances call for reducing the amount of caffeine you consume. Evaluate your habits. If any of these situations apply, you may need to cut back.

Though moderate caffeine intake isn't likely to cause harm, too much can noticeably affect your health. Heavy daily caffeine use — more than 500 to 600 mg a day, or about four to seven cups of coffee — can cause:
  • Restlessness
  • Anxiety
  • Irritability
  • Muscle tremors
  • Sleeplessness
  • Headaches
  • Nausea, diarrhea or other gastrointestinal problems
  • Abnormal heart rhythms

Caffeine content

Caffeine molecule Depending on the type of coffee and method of preparation, the caffeine content of a single serving can vary greatly. On average, a single cup of coffee of about 207 milliliters (7 fluid ounces) or a single shot of espresso of about 30 ml (1oz) can be expected to contain the following amounts of caffeine:

Drip coffee: 115–175 mg

Espresso: 60 mg Brewed/Pressed: 80–135 mg

Instant: 65–100 mg

Decaf, brewed: 3–4 mg

Decaf, instant: 2–3 mg

Don't get the wrong idea. I love coffee and their still a chance that i drink too much of it for a day. To help me lessen my addiction, I've research some disadvantages of too much coffee intakes.

I miss my friend who’s always there for me. I used to hang out in their house but for some circumstances we don’t often see each other now.

I always looked up to her ideas when it comes to fashion. She always has what i call “fashions instinct” with one look to any wardrobe, she can see if it’s fashionable or not. Actually few of my clothes and accessories were picked by her. With my ideas of make up to what I will wear on a Sunday mass, it all has to be approved by her. So much for the girly stuff, once in a while if we had time, we run...Yes!!!We actually bond through physical activities like running, jogging, playing badminton, wall climbing etc.


She was a book lover. She always have an eye to any book. She had read much variety of it. In fact she passed all of his books to me. She wants me to read it to and to sum it all up I became book lover too.

She was really good when it comes to cooking. She experiments every ingredient possible to make a meal and always in the end the meal was mouth-watering.

We love coffee. When I was at their house there was no way of leaving without sipping a cup of coffee. It was our best friend when we have overnight review or just reading a book on a Saturday afternoon. With so much priorities and responsibilities a little coffee session with her would be great.

I learned so many things from her. She was always patient and understanding. As far as I remember, I never had an argument with her. Even though we are not blood related I treat her as one of my siblings. I always seek for her advice.
I give her my full trust.

I thanked God I met her!
