Cheers to the New Nurses!

Posted by Janny

NURSING is in demand today--as a stepping-stone to a good career abroad. Indeed, the caring and competent Filipino nurse is known worldwide, and nursing schools throng with students with visions of foreign shores.

A total of 27,765 or 43.07 percent of the 64,459 who took the nursing licensure exam last June 1 and 2 passed it, the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said this Thursday evening.

Congratulations to the new Registered Nurses!

Even though I am not a nurse, I was so excited to view the results of 2008 Nursing Licensure Examination . I want to know if my cousin and some friends passed the examination. And so I browsed the net to see.

Eric, one of my best of friends, passed. I'm so proud of you! Congratulations!! So when and where is the celebration? hehehe..Blow out!blow out!

And also I have three co-agents who passed the licensure examinations. They were very happy to know that they passed. But the thing is.. Are they going to pursue their call center career? What will be their plans in the near future? What is it going to be?

I saw this picture on a blog by Keith Rull. Pretty interesting..

One of the most in demand job right now.

Gives you high pay and incentives.

Cool Job. . .

What more can you ask for?

Back on my college days, we had a seminar entitled "Call Center: Degree Holder's New Home?", where we guested a team captain of former call center company as a speaker. He talked about the advantages as well as the disadvantages of being part of the call center industry. How this job change his lifestyle, his social an financial aspect as well as his health and love life. And in the end he didn't encourage nor discourage us from taking his career. He just gave us ideas to help us choose any career that we will take. He said " Students, your future is in your hands. Believe in your abilities and skills. Make your parents proud."

It seems that there is nothing more in this world than your family's happiness.

And for the record, many of my former classmates applied for management trainee. But I am not one of the many. I am one of the few who, have already applied, passed and will start my call center career on Monday. Good luck!

Oh my Cards...

I seldom give cards. I think these are nothing but a piece of paper with words printed on it.

But when I started receiving one, I realized somehow that these were one of the best gift ever.

Although I love receiving expensive things, I mostly appreciate if someone will give me a card. Plus factor if it's made by him/her with a touch of art...hehehe.. I really love it.

My ever cute nephew...

He makes me laugh.

He keeps me away from boredom.

He is my angel.

He is 1 1/2 year old boy who loves to sing, dance, eat and sleep.

Ahhhhhh so cute...

But sometimes when he's not on the mood, he makes my life miserable..ehehehe

He will surely test your patience. Trust me...
